Master Thesis İdare hukuku açısından biyoçeşitlilik(2025) Agah, Ekin Su; Kaplan, OnurBiological diversity, or in short, biodiversity, refers to the diversity of living things all over the world. Mankind has benefited from biodiversity in many areas since its creation. However, the decrease in biodiversity, which has recently become a serious environmental problem, directly affects today's people and future generations. This situation of being directly affected has led to the development of environmental awareness, and states have begun to establish environmental policies and principles on a national and international scale in the context of environmental protection. For this purpose, states impose certain obligations on themselves and individuals by making regulatory actions for the implementation of environmental policies, and perform some auditing activities in accordance with these regulatory procedures. If the aforementioned regulatory procedures are insufficient or not implemented properly, and if sufficient care is not shown in the audit activities, a loss will arise from the responsibility of the administration. Accordingly, in our study, first of all, the issue of biodiversity conservation was explained along with the concept of biodiversity, legal regulations and legal preparations for biodiversity conservation were included, the duties and powers of the administration for biodiversity conservation were determined by examining the principles for biodiversity conservation, and cancellation and full judicial cases to be filed against the administration for biodiversity conservation were examined.
