Master Thesis George Frederich Handel’s Xerses Opera from the Point of Riew of the Era, Style and Technic(2016) Burhaniye, Mehmet; Usta, ÖzgeIn this work in addition to the genereal sfecific of the 18th century music art, George Frederich Handel's musical concept and the composer's Xerxes Opera's have been studied from the point of technical and structural aspects. In the first part of the study, general specifications of Baroque Music, instrumental music and the instruments in this era and the general knowledge about the composers of the age have been used. In the second part George Frederich Handel's life, his aspects of life, muical concept, style and the tecniques and at the same time the effects on his composership have been explained in details. As forthe third part, the general properties G. F. Handel's Xerxes opera, itshistory, characters, subjects and the reviews on the opera have been given.
