Logistics businesses are faced with the risk as all businesses but risk researches have been investigated mostly in banking and insurance sectors. There are many studies about Supply Chain Risk Management because of complexity of the Chain but There is not enough study in the Logistics Risks Management and Risks In the Logistics Sectors. There are studies that have examined the risk of a certain size in just logistics. To achive the effective flow of trade, the effective risk management should be implemented in logistics processes Risk, Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Control, Logistics, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Businesses, Supply Chain Risks, Risk in Logistics are subjecsts that are mentioned from the literature in this study. A survey was implemented on logistics businesses' owners and employees who operates in İzmir province. In the implementation phase of the survey logistics businesses' owners and employees' risk perception and ranking of the 5 most important risks are investigated. In the first part of survey from first to eighth questions are about the firms profile and demographics of the owners and employees who answer the survey questions. In the second part of the survey nineth question is about receiving consultancy on risks management. Tenth question is about measuring participation status of respondents on stated risk categories in tenth question. From twelfth question to seventeenth question are consist of literature definion of risks that will measure the risk perception of the respondents and the awareness of the risk and risks definition. Risk definition questions are in 5- level likert question format. From seventeenth question to the twenty second question are taken form Turkish Ministary of finance's internal control questions to measure collaboration, accountability, monitoring and evaluation, organization structure in risk management. From the twenty second question to twentyfifth question are consist of literature definion of risks management that will measure the risk management perception of the respondents and the awareness of the risk management and risks management definitions. Risk, risk management risk perceptions are compared with demographics of the respondents. The survey study is performed on the sample size 53 person. Acording to responses; the first 5 most important risks of the logistics businesses are related to financial risks, operational risks, strategic risks, physical risks, economic risks. According to responses; firms owners' education level is mostly in graduate- level in logistics sector. According to results from litarature research, analysis of survey results and observations during the research we can conclude some significant results that Risk management is not affected from demographics but affected from management responsibilty, management style and business capacity. İzmir province logistics businesses should be work on their financal and operational risks' reduction and risk elemination strategy devolopment. Risks in international trade have impact on logistics risks. To achieve the effective flow of trade, the effective logistics processes management should be realized by businesses and government. Government and Businesses should work on LPI to provide development. The way of the Effective logistics management is related to effective risk management implementations in businesses. Efectiveness of logistics and trade is going to reflect positively on the economy. Key Words: Logistics Enterprises, Risk, Consultancy, Risk Management, Risks In Logistics.
