    This study aims to examine the interplay between personality traits and use of mobile banking applications. In this regard, the relationship between personality traits and attitudes towards use of mobile banking applications was investigated. Data were collected from a sample of participants (N = 245) who are users of mobile banking application and analyzed with canonical correlation and hierarchical regression. Canonical correlation analysis results revealed two canonical functions. First function indicated an overall significant relationship between five personality traits and four attitudes towards mobile banking applications. The second canonical function showed that personality traits of conscientiousness and neuroticism were positively related to perceived usefulness and were negatively related to trust. The hierarchical regression analysis results showed that, at the second step of the model, personality traits of conscientiousness and extraversion predicted frequency of mobile banking applications use. The third step of the model shwoed that when personality traits and attitudes were included to the model, the frequency of mobile banking applications use was positively predicted by perceived usefulness and negatively predicted by social influence.
