    This thesis consists, mainly, of four chapters. In the first chapter, the topic of the thesis is introduced and in the second chapter, in order to clarify the reading of thesis, some types of metric space definitions, the concepts of convergence and completeness are given. In the third chapter, after given necessary knowledge on G-metric spaces, which are a generalization of metric space, we investigate fundamental properties of G-metrics. Also, we introduce G- metric topology formed by means of G-metric. And then, we study some properties of concepts such as G-convergence, G-continuity and G-completeness. All the concepts occuring in this chapter are illustrated by original examples. In the last chapter, we handle some fixed point theorems on G-metric spaces.
