    Check-ins in social media as an element of mobile consumption: In 'Izmir State example' named research, we established, individuals take advantage or not from affectation elements on social media. When we pay attention to researches realized about check-ins behaviors, we can detect, check-ins are generally exanimated gratifications. This is the first study examinating check-ins through affectation culture. This situation shows importance and authenticity of this study. As part of this research: 500 pcs of data contents are collected from people between 18-55 years old. Missing and defective notations are eliminated to have results on 424 questionnaires datas. As conclusion of research, most used social media to make check-ins is Instagram. People prefer make check-ins in valuable place for themselves. Another important fact is that people prefer to make check-ins in more expensive places than cheap places. Moreover, we can conclude that motivation of people who make check-ins are : to show their own place appreciation, to inform their friends, to be informed (stalk) their friends, to be amused, to reflect their own lifestyle and to show their personality originality. We can also establish that participants with age range of 18-24 and 25-34 are more openly declare their point of view than participants with age range of 35-44 and 45-55. At this point, people include peep and consumption culture to their check-ins in social media.
