Steganografi ve Dijital Soruşturmalar

Abstract

Bu proje, gizleme ve tespit etme, soruşturma ve önleme alt alanlarından teori ve vaka çalışmalarıyla karakterizedir. İstatistikler, AB üye ülkelerinin farklı kültürel geçmişlere sahip benzer BT güvenlik sorunları yaşadığını göstermektedir. Bu nedenle, farklı görüş ve perspektifleri karşılaştırmak ve iyi güvenlik uygulamasının ne olduğu konusunda bir fikir birliğine varmak önemlidir. Bu fikir birliğini kullanarak, öğrenciler steganografi ve dijital soruşturmalar alanında farklı vakalar üzerinde çalışacaklardır. Bu süreçte, etik olanın sınırlarını tartışacak ve belirleyeceklerdir; bu sınırlar, öğrencilerin kültürel geçmişlerine bağlı olarak oldukça farklılık gösterebilir. SDI, BT Güvenliği alanında yeni öğretim materyali oluşturmayı amaçlamaktadır. Öğretim materyali (işbirliğine dayalı bir ders kitabı ve elektronik materyal) katılımcılar arasında yayınlanacak ve paylaşılacaktır. Proje sonuçları, proje web sitesinde yayınlanarak yaygınlaştırılacaktır. IP'nin önemli bir çıktısı, bu dersi ortakların eğitim programlarına dahil etmek ve Avrupa'daki diğer üniversiteler tarafından da kullanılabilen Bilgi Güvenliği konusunda yenilikçi bir öğretim modülü oluşturmaktır. SDI, teknolojiyle ilgili bir alanda öğrenci ve öğretim elemanlarının Avrupa hareketliliğini teşvik etmede ve ortaklar arasındaki çok taraflı iş birliğini güçlendirmede önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Katılımcı öğrenciler değerlendirilecek ve 3 AKTS kredisi ile ödüllendirilecektir. SDI sonucunda, öğrenciler katılımcı ülkelerdeki çalışma uygulamalarını karşılaştırmalı bir bakış açısıyla değerlendirebilecek ve oluşturulan uzlaşı çalışma uygulamalarını kullanıp raporlayabileceklerdir. Öğrenciler ve öğretim görevlileri, her bir üniversitedeki öğretime entegre edilebilecek yeni öğretim ve öğrenme biçimleri oluşturacaklardır.

This project is characterised by theory and case studies from the subfields of hiding and detecting, investigation and prevention. Statistics show that the EU member states suffer from similar IT security problems with a different cultural background. Therefore, it is important to compare the different views and perspectives and to reach a consensus of what is good security practice. Using this consensus, the students will work on different cases in the field of steganography and digital investigations. In this process, they will discuss and set the limits of what is ethical; which can be quite different depending on the students’ respective cultural backgrounds. SDI intends to create new teaching material in the field of IT Security. The teaching material (a collaborative textbook as well as electronic material) will be published and shared among the participants. The project results will be disseminated through publication on the project website. One major output of the IP is to incorporate this course in the educational programmes of the partners and to create an innovative teaching module on Information Security that is also available for use by other universities in Europe. SDI plays an important role in promoting the European mobility of students and teaching staff in a technology-related discipline and in strengthening the multilateral co-operation between the partners. Participating students will be assessed and awarded 3 ECTS credits. As a result of SDI, the students should be able to evaluate the working practices in the participating countries from a comparative perspective and be able to use and report on the consensus working practice established. Students and lecturers will create new modes of teaching and learning that can flow back into the teaching at each home university.
