Aile işletmelerinde kurumsallaşma ve bir vaka analizi

Abstract

Family businesses are the organizations, which exist around their own subjective values. These businesses require to be institutionalized for their continuity. The aim of this research is to evaluate the family businesses within the framework of family values and in the context of family constitutions and to analyze institutionalization process in accordance with the aforementioned values. Within this process, this research examines the problems the family businesses encounter and the way they overcome these obstacles to continue their existence. Since the role of family values in the institutionalization process is of paramount importance for the continuity of the business, the influence and necessity of family constitutions which consist of a system and rules are questioned. The questioning is entitled as the family business, institutionalization process and family constitution concepts and their implementation; and consequently related interview questions are prepared. In the practice part of the research consisting the interview questions and answers of the successor, it is aimed to address the administrative effects of family constitutions on the business and the implementations in the institutionalization process.

Aile işletmeleri, öznel değerleri çerçevesinde varlığını sürdüren örgütlerdir. Bu işletmeler içinde bulundukları süreçte sürekliliklerini sağlayabilmek için kurumsallaşmaya ihtiyaç duymaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasının amacı, aile işletmelerini aile değerleri çerçevesinde ve aile anayasası bağlamında değerlendirerek kurumsallaşma sürecini bu değerlerle bağlantılı olarak incelemektir. Bu süreçte, işletmelerin sürekliliğinin sağlanabilmesi için izlediği yolda, hangi sorunlarla karşılaştıkları ve söz konusu sorunlarla nasıl mücadele etmeleri gerektiği irdelenmiştir. Aile değerlerinin kurumsallaşma sürecindeki yeri ve önemi işletmenin sürekliliğini etkileyen en önemli unsur olduğundan, bir sistem ve kurallar bütünü olan aile anayasalarının işletme içerisindeki etkisi ve gerekliliği sorgulanmıştır. Söz konusu sorgulama; aile işletmeleri, kurumsallaşma süreci ve aile anayasası kavramları ve uygulamaları alt başlıklarıyla detaylandırılmış ve bu çerçevede mülakat soruları oluşturulmuştur. Mülakat soruları ve incelenen işletmenin varisinin verdiği cevaplardan oluşan uygulama bölümüyle aile anayasalarının işletme üzerindeki yönetimsel etkisi ve kurumsallaşma sürecindeki uygulamaların ele alınması hedeflenmiştir.
