Tedarik zinciri yönetiminde RFID uygulamaları: Farklı sektörlerden örnek olay incelemeleri

Abstract

Bu çalışma tedarik zinciri süreçlerinde RFID uygulamalarını içeren bir çalışmadır. İlk aşamada odak noktası tedarik zinciri süreçlerini ve bu süreçlerin yönetimini incelemeye dayalıdır. Bu aşamada tedarik zinciri adımlarının tarihsel gelişimi de ele alınmıştır. Ardından, RFID teknolojisinin, teknik ve tarihsel detayları incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın diğer bölümlerinde de firmaların RFID teknolojisini nasıl uygulanmakta olduğu incelenmiş, ilgili tespitler yapılmıştır. RFID teknolojisinin, firmaların tedarik zinciri süreçlerine olan katkısını pratikte deneyimleyebilmek önemli bir motivasyon kaynağı olmuştur. Nitel ve nicel veri setlerini oluşturmak adına firmalarla interaktif bir bağ kurup, süreci uygulamalı anlamak, öğrenmek, incelemek ve yerinde tespitler yapabilmek, bir araştırmacı için oldukça önemlidir. Buaraştırmanın temel amacı da ayrı bir motivasyon kaynağı olarak düşünülebilir. Araştırmanın amacı, RFID teknolojisini uygulayan şirketlerin bugün ne kadar memnun olduklarını belirleyebilmektir. Bu sayede, röportaj yöntemini kullanarak, bu çalışma için niteliksel veriler elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca, bir gönüllü şirketten, istatistiksel analiz için ikincil veriler de elde edilmiştir. Bu araştırmada şirketin verileri örnek olay incelemesinde de görülmektedir. Örnek olay incelemesi, şirketin tedarik zinciri adımları (6 farklı üretim adımı) arasında, 1 ay boyunca günde 3 periyot için materyal geçişlerini kapsamaktadır. Her bir periyot için adımlar arası materyal akışı ve adımları içi materyal giriş çıkış adetleri RFID teknolojisi sayesinde tespit edilmiştir. Tüm üretim adımlarının gün içindeki periyodlar arasındaki malzeme akış adetleri farkının önemini analiz etmek amacıyla Anova yöntemi de uygulanmıştır. Bu analizlere doğrultusunda, tüm sonuçlar, firmanın sorunların temeline inebilmesi ve doğru tespit yapabilmesi için kendileriyle paylaşılmıştır. This research is a study of RFID (radio frequency identification) applications in supply chain processes. In the first phase of work, the focal point is entirely based on examining the supply chain processes and the management of these processes. At this stage, the historical development of the supply chain steps is also discussed. Then, the technical and historical details of RFID technology are discussed. In the later part of the study, companies were also investigated which use RFID technology during supply chain processes. It has been an important motivation for RFID technology to be able to experience its contribution to the supply chain processes in practice. It is very important for a researcher to establish an interactive link with the companies in order to create qualitative and quantitative dataset, to understand the process, to learn, to examine and to make on-site detections. The main purpose of this research can be considered as a source of motivation. Purpose of the research is to be able to determine how satisfied companies are today by applying RFID technology in practice. Therefore, by using interview method, qualitative data were obtained for this research. In addition, secondary data were obtained for the use of the statistical analysis from one volunteer company. This company's data illustrated the case study and this research. The case study includes material transitions between this company's supply chain steps (6 different production steps), during1 month, for 3 periods per day. Transitions between steps to steps and input output material transition within steps for each periods are detected by RFID technology. Anova method was also applied in order to analyze the significance of difference of material flow between the periods of day for each production steps. Base on these analysis, conclusions were shared with the company to guide them in coming up with the basis of problems.
