Özge Gülbey Usta'nın 'Klarnete Atıf' isimli klarnet konçertosunun incelenmesi

Abstract

In this study, while examining the historical development of the clarinet, we also wished to determine how the instrument received its place in orchestras and what kind of changes it experienced. We have assessed features that the Boehm system brought to clarinet, both physically and technically, in order to have a wider knowledge of the subject. We have specified the characteristics of this genre in general terms with the history of the concerto, which was written throughout the history of music. We have also intended to examine in general terms the concerto written by Özge Gülbey Usta for clarinet, which is called 'Klarnete Atıf'. In this context, the clarinet concerto 'Klarnete Atıf' by one of the contemporary Turkish composers, Gülbey Usta was selected due to the unique structure and style of the composition, which consists of national themes and a western style of composing and clarinet as its solo instrument which personifies the instrument throughout changes and the maturation within the three parts of the composition, and the composition was examined both technically and musically to understand the use way the clarinet was used and the structure of the concerto was formed. Bu çalışmada, klarnetin tarihsel gelişimini incelerken, çalgının orkestralarda yerini nasıl aldığı ve ne gibi değişiklikler geçirdiği belirlenmek istenmiştir. Boehm sisteminin klarnete getirdiği özellikler fiziksel ve teknik açıdan değerlendirilip, konu hakkında daha geniş bir bilgiye sahip olmak amaçlanmıştır. Müzik tarihi boyunca yazılmış olan konçertonun tarihçesi ile genel hatlarıyla bu türün özellikleri belirtilmiştir. Özge Gülbey Usta'nın klarnet için yazdığı 'Klarnete Atıf' konçertosu genel hatlarıyla incelenmek istenmiştir. Bu bağlamda günümüz Türk bestecilerinden Gülbey Usta'nın 'Klarnete Atıf' klarnet konçertosu, içeriğinde ulusalcı motifler yer alması, ayrıca kendine özgü yapısı ve üslubuyla batı tekniğinde bestelenmesinin yanı sıra, solist enstrüman olan klarnetin, kişileştirilip eserin üç bölümünde yaptığı yolculukta geçirdiği değişimler ve olgunlaşma sürecini anlatması açılarından tercih edilmiş olup, eser hem teknik olarak klarnetin kullanımı hem de müzikal olarak konçertonun kurgulanması amaçlı incelenmiştir.
