dc.description.sponsorship SC transparency and due diligence, with a focus on ethical and environmental regulations, are highlighted in 5 % of the papers. These policies address SC due diligence and human rights issues enacted globally and in regions like Germany and China. Additionally, sustainability and transparency in battery production and recycling are practiced in the EU, China, Mexico, Bolivia, and Chile. Resource management and environmental impact policies, reviewed in 2 % of the studies, are supported by the DRC.R&D funding, aimed at advancing new technology and innovation within the EV battery SC, is covered in 16 % of the papers. Global efforts from countries such as the US, China, Japan, and Canada are key in driving these plans. Specific funding for the EV battery SC is discussed in 5 % of the studies, with China and the US playing pivotal roles in supporting these initiatives.
