The linkages between immigration diversity and innovation: Mobility of knowledge and experiences

Abstract

Migration has been a heavily debated issue in many of the contemporary societies due to its' remarkable impact on social political and economic spheres both for migrant populations and host communities. However there has been a growing tendency in recent years as to casting a role for migrants and migration through the lenses of security-based concerns rather than its' humanitarian dimension and positive outcomes. Meanwhile this tendency overshadows the contribution of migration to the societies by only spotlighting the side effects and adverse outcomes of migratory flows. © 2023 Elsevier B.V.
