The export financing system: A prisma guided comprehensive review / İhracat finansmanı sistemi: Prisma rehberi ile kapsamlı inceleme

Abstract

Uluslararası ticaretin bir parçası olarak ihracat, ülkeler için temel ekonomik politika araçlarından biridir. Bilindiği üzere, 1980'li yıllardan sonra finansal serbestleşme döneminde birçok gelişmekte olan ülke kapılarını dünyaya açarak, ihracata dayalı büyüme modelini ekonomik politika aracı olarak benimsediler. Bu bağlamda, ihracatın desteklenmesi için gerekli olan fon akışını sağlayan ihracat finansman araçlarına ihtiyaç olduğu aşikardır. Ayrıca, küresel ekonomilerdeki fon yetersizliğinin yanı sıra risk ve kırılganlık nedeniyle, ekonomik ve ekonomik olmayan tüm faktörler ihracatı destekleyici enstrümanların rolünü daha da artırmıştır. Bu çalışma, ihracat kredisi enstrümanlarını, bu enstrümanların tarihsel süreçte gelişimini ve ilgili akademik çalışmaları PRISMA sistematik literatür taraması ve scientometric literatür taraması yöntemleri ışığında sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Literatür tarama süreci, Web of Science (WoS) veri tabanına ve "ihracat kredisi" anahtar kelimelerine dayanmaktadır. Sonuç olarak toplam 158 adet doküman bulunmuş olup, uygunluk kriterlerine göre 50 adet makale değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. İncelenen 50 makale arasında popüler olan 5 ana konu gözlemlenmiştir. İlgili literatürün gelişmesi için konular genişletilebilir. Bu yöntemle, sadece akademisyenler için değil, aynı zamanda politika yapıcılar için de izleyen çalışmalara yol gösterici olması beklenmektedir. As an international trade transaction, export became the key economic policy tool for the countries. After the year 1980s in the era of financial liberalization period, many developing countries open their doors to the rest of the world. Moreover, these countries choose export-led growth as a main macroeconomic policy. In this context, export financing instruments which help to fund flow, are needed to support export. Additionally, due to not only the lack of funds but also risk and fragility in global economies, hence all economic and non-economic factors increased the role of export-supporting instruments. This study aims to provide export credit instruments, the development of these instruments in a historical approach, and related academic studies in the light of a PRISMA 2020-guided systematic review and also a scientometric review. The review process is based on the Web of Science (WoS) database, and the keywords "export credit". As a result, total 158 documents are found, according to the eligibility criteria 50 papers are evaluated. The main finding is that most of the researchers among evaluated 50 papers, there are 5 main research topics and the topics can be extended to expand the related literature. This might be a helpful tool for further studies in this literature not only for academics but also policy makers as well.
