Abstract
In architecture department curriculum there are three types of courses, theoretical based courses technical based courses and expression based courses. Building construction courses are technical based courses that give knowledge due to the professsional life. In respect to this the knowledge given at this course and the learning outcomes of this course has an important place in both architectural education and architectural professional life. There are some different teaching methods in education. The problem is selecting the right teaching method for construction courses. One of these methods is asking students to make models of the topics that are explained in the course. With this method students can understand the topics by testing the models stability and also thinking about the connection details.
