An Embedded System Vehicle Tracking System Application

Abstract

In this study an embedded system vehicle tracking applications have been realized. GSM modules and GPS modules which allows to track the vehicle operation are used in the system. Linux operating system is used in the design of the system. Device applications have been written using tools of Linux operating system. Developed applications take the geographical location information from the GPS module and transmits the information to a central server using the GSM module. In the study vehicle tracking power management GPS control and radio interface layer applications have been developed.
