Abstract

Turizm endüstrisi, dünyadaki yeni trendlere uyum sağlamak için dijital uygulamaları benimsemektedir. Bu çalışma, Avrupa'nın akıllı şehirlerindeki müzelerin teknolojik uygulamalarını inceleyerek miras turizminin dijitalleşmesini ele almaktadır. Bu tez, Avrupa'daki ünlü müzelerin uyguladığı teknolojik yenilikleri araştırmakta ve dijital uygulamaların kullanılmasının ziyaretçi katılımını nasıl arttırdığını incelemektedir. Teknoloji ve kültürel mirasın birlikte derinlemesine incelenerek dijital turizmle ilgili yeni bakış açıları sunmaktadır. The tourism industry is embracing digital methods to adapt to the new trends of the world. This study considers the digitalization of heritage tourism by investigating the implications and implementations in museums in the smart cities of Europe. This thesis explores the innovations in renowned museums and how visitor engagement has enhanced after the employment of digital methods. In doing so, the thesis is concluded by offering a deeper understanding of the blend of technology and heritage.
