Analysis of Production Practices in Popular Electronic Music from the Perspective of Devices

Abstract

The technological advancements at the beginning of the 20th century, along with the influence of the Futurism movement, have facilitated the development of sound analysis and the production of the first electronic music devices, leading to the discovery of new sound timbres in music. Electronic music has expanded the forms of musical expression and has made noise an important element in music. Technological developments such as synthesizers, samplers, and digital audio processing software have provided artists with opportunities to create new and original sounds. These innovations have expanded the boundaries of traditional musical instruments. This study examines the influence of pioneers of electronic music on popular electronic music and the impact of the produced devices on music production. It details the various sub-genres of electronic music and the cultural impacts these genres have created.20. yüzyılın başlarındaki teknolojik gelişmeler ve fütürizm akımının da müziğe etkisiyle, ses analizine yönelik çalışmalara ve ilk elektronik müzik aygıtlarının üretilmesine olanak sağlamış ve müzikte yeni ses tınılarının keşfedilmesine öncülük etmiştir. Elektronik müzik, müzikal ifade biçimlerini genişletmiş ve müzikte gürültüyü önemli bir unsur haline getirmiştir. Sentezleyiciler, örnekleyiciler ve sayısal ses işleme yazılımları gibi teknolojik gelişmeler, sanatçılara yeni ve özgün sesler yaratma fırsatı sağlamıştır. Bu yenilikler, geleneksel çalgıların sınırlarını genişletmiştir.
