| dc.description.abstract | Interior architecture produces solutions for design problems which are in parallel with other design disciplines and within its own study field as a space design discipline. Designers whose sense of design are different from each other have sought response to problems in line with their own design approaches. Even though the designer's own perspective in his/her approach to the design is at the forefront some acceptances also lead to indoor designs. Among these acceptances can be listed as, physical variables such as phototropism space acoustic sound and heat insulation. Beside visual factors to influence the relationship between the design and the user in aesthetical sense are variables directing space design. In this sense indoor use of plants is a visual element adding aesthetical value to the space and therefore it will be examined within the scope of this research. Plants which have been proved to influence people positively in psychological and physiological sense can be used for various purposes in indoor design. Interior architectures that aim to produce accurate solutions in aesthetical and functional sense should prioritize green in their designs and try to meet the expectations regarding the indoor use of plants including some flowering geophytes. | |
