Abstract

This study examines the shipment performance of an electronic product manufacturing company and investigates the efforts made to enhance order preparation capacity. At the outset of the research, the preparation times for products on shelves were calculated using time studies. Simultaneously, fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving products were analyzed through ABC analysis. In addition to this analysis, association rule mining was employed to identify products sold together using the Apriori algorithm, and new location recommendations were proposed for these products within the shelf system. The primary goal, established based on the results of all analyses, is to reduce order preparation times and increase shipment capacity. This aims to provide quicker responses to the growing order volumes in both the domestic and global markets. At the end of the study, an improvement of 24.71% was observed in Group A products, and 3.62% in Group B products.

Bu çalışma, bir elektronik ürün üreticisi firmanın sevkiyat performansını değerlendirmekte ve bu bağlamda sipariş hazırlık kapasitesini artırmak için gerçekleştirilen çalışmaları incelemektedir. Araştırmanın başlangıcında, zaman etüdü kullanılarak raftaki ürünlerin sipariş hazırlık süreleri hesaplanmıştır.
