Although the literature provides a significant knowledge on the antecedents and consequences of organizational stress there is no sufficient information about what employees expect from their management when coping with stress. In order to fill this void this study first reviews the organizational strategies in the literature and then the employees' expectations from their management during this process were analyzed on a sample of 42 whitecollar female and male workers in a manufacturing firm in Izmir Ataturk Organize Sanayi Bolgesi (IAOSB) with following a semi-structured interview methodology.
