The existence and fundamental forms of differential equations are briefly intoduced and the comparison theorems of Sturm-Liouville differential equations are studied. Also the Prüfer substitution metlod which transforms Sturm-Liouville differential equation into a system of differential equations is examined.Bu tezde, ikinci mertebeden Sturm-Liouville diferansiyel denklemi için salınım teorisi ele alınmıştır. Diferansiyel denklemler için varlık teorisi ve temel formlar kısaca özetlenmiş ve Sturm-Liouville karşılaştırma teoremleri çalışılmıştır.
