    A Multimedia Application for an Embedded System

    In this study system multimedia applications is realized for an embedded system. The designed system provides multimedia support such as audio playback video play saving to disk as hardware and software. In the design of the developed system Linux operating system is used. Required Linux operating system peripheral drivers has been developed. To realize peripheral module tests necessary test and user applications and user libraries are written. User applications that provides multimedia operations are designed for the Linux operating system.

    An Embedded System Vehicle Tracking System Application

    In this study an embedded system vehicle tracking applications have been realized. GSM modules and GPS modules which allows to track the vehicle operation are used in the system. Linux operating system is used in the design of the system. Device applications have been written using tools of Linux operating system. Developed applications take the geographical location information from the GPS module and transmits the information to a central server using the GSM module. In the study vehicle tracking power management GPS control and radio interface layer applications have been developed.
