Genişletilmiş gerçekliğin entegrasyonu nesneler hakkında bilgi sağlamanın yanı sıra sanal bir katman aracılığıyla zenginleştirilmiş ve çeşitli etkileşimleri içeren bir deneyim sunmaktadır. Bu çalışma İngilizce dilinde gerçekleştirilmiş iletişim çalışmalarında 1992 ile 2023 yılları arasında genişletilmiş gerçeklik (extended reality) teknolojisi konusunda Web of Science Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED) Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) ve Arts & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI) dizinlerinde yayımlanmış çalışmaların nicel ve sistematik bir incelemesini sunmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında WOS veri tabanında endekslenen dergilerde karma gerçeklik artırılmış gerçeklik sanal gerçeklik ve genişletilmiş gerçeklik kavramları ile ilgili çalışmalar taranmıştır. Yayım tipi dili açık erişim kategorisi ve konu filtreleri ile ulaşılan 209 yayın bibliyometrik analiz kapsamına dahil edilmiştir. Bibliyometrik araçlar genişletilmiş gerçeklik ve iletişim çalışmalarındaki eğilimleri belirlemek amacıyla temel araştırma konuları ve kümeleri alanlar arası dağılım ülkeler bazında üretkenlik ve iş birliği anahtar kelime ve alıntı ağı ve eşdizim ağlarını belirlemek için kullanılmıştır. Transportation is one of the major contributors to this\renvironmental decay. The harmful gases released to the air by the vehicles using petroleum fuel increase each day. One\rof the solutions is to make a gradual transition to electric vehicles. A major part of manufacturing an electric vehicle\ris to produce an efficient electric motor and battery for it. Reducing the manufacturing and operating costs of these\rcomponents will result in reducing the overall costs of electric vehicles. In this study a new variant of the electric\rtravelling salesman problem with time windows (E-TSPTW) was proposed. The objective function of the problem is to\rminimize the required initial battery capacity of the electric vehicle. For this goal a new energy consumption model\rconsidering the load of the vehicle was proposed with three scenarios. The proposed model was solved with a hybrid\rsimulated annealing algorithm for all these scenarios. The performance of the proposed method was compared to the\rsolutions found by a mixed integer linear programming model. The proposed filter is designed by using nonlinear mapping on the state variables of a state space description of the transfer function. To the best knowledge of the authors the filter is the first square-root domain first order all-pass structure designed by using state space synthesis method in the literature. The center frequency of the all-pass filter is not only attainable at megahertz frequencies but also tunable by an external bias current. The proposed filter operated 2.5 V supply voltage is constructed by current mirrors geometric mean circuits a linear transconductor circuit and a capacitor. In this study the parameters about the short circuit and the techniques of calculating the faults in system and the necessary theoretical knowledge for the short circuit fault to be understood better have been given. The effect on the distributed generation and the grid which is caused by the possible short circuit faults have been simulated by being modeled in PSS/Sincal and by using the real grid parameters with cogeneration power plant in Izmir Turkey. The real short circuit fault results measured from the power plant and the grid and the results obtained from the software program have been compared and it has been determined that there is not a significant difference between them. Thus it has been emphasized that it is correct to simulate before investing in a power system in for the purpose of restrain the faults during the designing and working before the application. It allows the designer to design new power plant as good as plan expansion of existing power plants with higher degree of precision. This paper studies the relationship between architecture interiors and literary spaces by using a methodology that draws on architectural literary analysis a methodology that uses literature as a medium to define and analyze architectural spaces and cues. Specifically it investigates the connections between architectural and spatial references and their influences on societal concerns in literature – the literary space within The Ladies’ Paradise (1883) a novel by Émile Zola (1840-1902). The retail space portrayed within the novel dominates the narrative. Thus the architectural spaces are described to support the storyline. These spatial cues indicate a specific overall theme namely capitalism – an important issue to discuss within architectural discourse. Zola reveals a new perspective on the social and architectural impacts on society under capitalism through the public interior space of Ladies’ Paradise. The research also indicates the correlation between architecture public space and retailing culture through the birth of the “department store ” thus forever altering society’s ideology on retail culture. Although the novel is categorized as fictitious the representation of 19th-century retailing culture women’s role within society and the significance of architecture are shown to be realistic to that time. In conclusion this paper reveals the dialogue between architecture societal gender issues and the evolvement of retail culture through the medium of literature and derives lessons from this dialogue.Article Bir Anlatı Talebi: Sabahattin Ali'nin Kuyucaklı Yusuf Romanını Bir Kimlik Arayışı Olarak Okumak(Selcuk Univ, FAC Letters, 2024) Baran Akkuş; Akkus, Murat Baran; Akkuş, BaranSabahattin Ali'nin 1937 yılında yayımlanan ilk romanı Kuyucaklı Yusuf Anadolu yaşamına dair ilk gerçekçi roman olması ve toplumsal sistem eleştirisi içermesi bakımından Türk edebiyatında tarihsel öneme sahip bir metindir. Roman Ali'nin 1948 yılında sürekli eleştirdiği otoriterlik ve milliyetçilik dalgasının yükseldiği bir dönemde öldürülmesi nedeniyle yarım kalmıştır. Bu çalışma romanın anlatısal kimlik talebini yazarın zamansız ölümü bağlamında incelemektedir. Çalışma hepsi de kişisel anlatıların gerçekleşmesini engelleyen bariyerler olarak işlev gören üç temayı ortaya çıkardı-'mağduriyetin sessiz dili' bir uç deneyim olarak yalnızlık ve yazarın ölümünün kesinliği- Bu çalışma aynı zamanda Paul Ricouer’in tanımladığı şekliyle bir mezara koyma eylemidir. Bu nedenle eğitim binalarında etkili gün ışığı ve yapay aydınlatma stratejilerinin uygulanması son derece kritiktir. Bu sorunu ele almak için seçilen üniversitedeki bir sınıf için yatay bir gün ışığı tüpü ve bir çıkma kombinasyonu önerilmiştir. Amaç gün ışığının kullanılabilirliğini artırmak ve parlamayı azaltmak olarak belirlenmiştir. Hedef LEEDv4 standartlarında belirtilen gün ışığı değerlendirme kriterlerinde öngörüldüğü gibi belirlenen analiz alanında en az %55'lik bir Mekansal Gün Işığı Otonomisi ve %10'dan fazla olmayan bir Yıllık Güneş Işığı Maruziyeti elde etmektir. Sınıfın gün ışığı performansındaki iyileştirmelere ek olarak mevcut sistemin yerine homojen ve yeterli aydınlatma sağlayan bir yapay aydınlatma sistemi önerilmiştir. Önerilen sistemin enerji tüketiminin azaltılması da istenen hedefler arasındadır. Önerilen sistemler değerlendirilirken gün ışığı simülasyonları için Rhinoceros ve ClimateStudio yapay aydınlatma simülasyonları için ise DIALux kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar önerilen çözümlerin amaçlandığı gibi başarılı olduğunu göstermektedir. The boundedness of the state variables for the considered model are demonstrated the parameter values providing the existence of the multiple equilibria and thus the bistable behavior are determined and a local stability analysis of the equilibria is performed. The parameter region yielding the existence of multiple equilibria is determined in an algebraic way based on discriminants. The model given in the state equation form is defined by the ordinary differential equations with the rational right-hand sides constituted within Hill and Michaelis Menten approaches based on enzyme kinetics. To mitigate the potentially devastating impact of anticipated large earthquakes one viable approach is to increase earthquake awareness among builders themselves. However these builders lack formal engineering training and are ordinary citizens. Therefore the challenge lies in devising visual teaching methods such as short videos to explain complex seismic phenomena in a comprehensible manner. This paper introduces the use of educational media tailored for non-specialized audiences encompassing regular citizens and students without engineering backgrounds. These videos are based on experiments conducted with physical models on a homemade shake table. They focus on key factors influencing the seismic response of multi-storey buildings and highlight common design and construction errors that lead to building damage. To assess the effectiveness of this approach we conducted a workshop with junior architecture students followed by post-workshop qualitative assessments through knowledge surveys and interviews. The findings indicate that while single-topic videos were effective learning tools for students without prior knowledge of seismic building design students found models particularly useful for explaining specific concepts such as torsional behavior the role of diaphragms and the performance of non-structural components. However despite positive feedback on the effectiveness of model testing students generally did not perceive significant knowledge acquisition in model construction. Considering the cost of wind power plants together with the targeted amount of energy generation earthquake planning for these systems becomes crucial. Earthquakes are one of the principal risks of wind energy investments especially when considering the earthquake hazard level in a large portion of the country. Under the present circumstances the companies producing wind turbines conduct the analysis and planning they deem necessary and forward these to the investors in our country. The extent to which manufacturers consider earthquake parameters and analysis methods in the design of wind turbines for earthquake resistance is not well-defined. The lack of clarity makes it difficult for investors to accurately evaluate the suitability of wind turbine tower and foundation designs for the specific conditions of the country. This study evaluates earthquake design methods by investigating the regulations used in the design of wind turbines around the world. The magnitude of ground motion considered in the earthquake design the method of analysis used the load combinations on which the designs are based and the criteria for the designs have been inspected. Moreover the design documents for a wind turbine that is being constructed have been examined in detail with the earthquake design stage being especially scrutinized. Assessments and recommendations have been made regarding the design specifications analysis methods and criteria used in the analysis and design of the wind turbines currently being built in our country. Bu çalışma kapsamında COVID-19 pandemisi sırasında sağlık iletişimi sürecinde bireylerin kişilik özelliklerinin bilgiyi arama sürecinde ve gerekli önlemleri almada etkili olduğu varsayımından ve bireysel farklılıkların ilişkilendirilip ilişkilendirilemeyeceği sorusundan yola çıkılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında Türk halkına yönelik COVID-19 salgını iletişiminin beş büyük kişilik özelliği çerçevesinde bireylerin bilgi alma tercihleri güven duydukları kaynaklar arasındaki ilişkileri Büyük-5 faktörlerine dayalı bireysel farklılıklarını ne şekilde etkilediğini ölçmek amaçlanmıştır. Bu nitel çalışma öncelikle Türk halkının COVID-19 algısında bilgi arama davranışını ve medyadan gelen haberlerin etkisini araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. İkinci olarak da COVID-19 pandemi iletişimi ile ilgili bilgi edinme tercihlerinde güvendikleri medya kaynakları arasındaki ilişkileri nasıl etkilediğinin ölçülmesi amaçlanmıştır. In this paper the PVRP with time windows and timespread constraints (PVRP-TWTS) is addressed which arises in the high-valueshipment transportation area. In the PVRP-TWTS period-specific demands of thecustomers must be delivered by a fleet of heterogeneous capacitated vehicles overthe several planning periods. Additionally the arrival times to a customer shouldbe irregular within its time window over the planning periods and the waiting timeis not allowed for the vehicles due to the security concerns. This study proposes novel mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) and constraint programming(CP) models for the PVRP-TWTS. Furthermore we develop several validinequalities to strengthen the proposed MILP and CP models as well as a lowerbound. Even though CP has successful applications for various optimizationproblems it is still not as well-known as MILP in the operations research field.This study aims to utilize the effectiveness of CP in solving the PVRP-TWTS. This study presents a CP model for PVRP-TWTS for the first time in the literature to the best of our knowledge. Having a comparison of the CP and MILP models can help in providing a baseline for the problem. We evaluate the performance ofthe proposed MILP and CP models by modifying the well-known benchmark setfrom the literature. This study aims to analyze the advantages of using literary works in economics education in the sample of Animal Farm as in using different training methods. Firstly the study examined the interactions between literature and economics briefly. Then the plots of Animal Farm were revealed from the allegory of historical events using defamiliarization. Finally the benefits of using Animal Farm in economics education were discussed. Whilst \rreduced or limited time outdoors and thus exposure to diurnal bright light \rappear to be detrimental to sleep and emotional well-being in old age further \rresearch is required to confirm this relationship. \rMaterials and Method: To build on earlier work a two-week study was \rconducted in a sample of 79 community-dwelling older adults recruited by \rusing snowball sampling method. Throughout the study the participants were \rallowed to be outdoors from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on weekdays. Whilst the \rparticipants were performing their daily habitual activities they were asked \rto keep an activity diary and report on their sleep quality and emotional wellbeing using two questionnaires.\rResults: The results demonstrated that participants’ daily time spent \routdoors (49.13 minutes on average) positively correlated with their perceived \rsleep quality and emotional well-being at various –– but significant –– levels \r(p<0.05). Moreover significant negative correlations were identified between \rparticipants’ sleep quality and experienced emotional disturbances (p<0.001).\rConclusion: Based on the research findings it is reasonable to conclude \rthat spending momentary periods outdoors may have adverse consequences \rfor the elderly. Sediment particles (with sizes ranging from 0.5 mm\rto 4.78 mm) were used to evaluate the effect of deposited bed. Variation of shear velocity\restimation was investigated where the critical Shields parameter was expressed using bedslope product u∗cb log-law u∗cl and was extended in terms of critical mean velocity. The\rcritical Shields parameters obtained were significantly lower than the traditional Shields\rcurve when u∗cl was used compared to u∗cb. The real production data of a brick factory in Turkey with a daily production capacity of 392 tons of fired bricks were used in the analysis. The exergoenvironmental factor of the control volume was calculated as 0.87. The specific exergoenvironmental cost of the control volume was determined to be 559.55 €/h 3.39 €cent/ kg fired brick and 1.94 €cent/MJ. The specific exergoeconomic cost and the environmental damage prevention cost were obtained to be 0.41 € cent/MJ and 1.53 € cent/MJ respectively. Makalede mobilya tasarımı tarihinde özellikle de materyal odaklı içerik açısından eşsiz bir örnek olarak Türkiye’nin yüzyıl ortası modern mobilyaları incelenmektedir. Bu tarihî bağlamın maddi niteliklerini anlamak için sözlü tarih üretim çağdaş koşullar ve tasarımcıların kişisel deneyimlerinin arkasındaki felsefeyi kendi sözleriyle ortaya çıkarmak üzere çok önemli bir metodolojik araç sağlamış ve çalışmanın modern mobilyalar ve özellikle Türkiye’deki malzemeler hakkındaki sınırlı bilgiye önemli ölçüde katkıda bulunmasına olanak vermiştir. Çalışma üç bölüme ayrılmıştır: Malzemeler üretim teknolojileri ve zorluklar. Çalışma bir mobilya örneğinin maddi niteliklerini araştırmak suretiyle formların veya stillerin ötesinde ülkenin kalkınma ve gelişme çabalarını anlatan kültürel üretimlere uzanmakta ayrıca hem malzemelerin hem de üretim tekniklerinin gelişimini ortaya koymaktadır. Son olarak bu hikâyeleri belirli mobilya örneklerine bağlayarak mobilyaları sadece bir eser olarak değil aynı zamanda insan malzeme ve teknikler bütününün sonuç ürünü olarak belgelemektedir.
