    Richard Strauss Op. 10 Lied Dizisinin piyano eşlik partisine yönelik bir inceleme

    The aim of this study is to analyse Richard Strauss's Lied Op. 10 and contribute to the pianists, particularly those willing to make vocal accompaniment by identifying all his lied compositions and learning the language in these compositions. This study is composed of four parts. The first part, in which historical method was used, includes the life of the artist and his abilities as a composer. The second part, on the other hand, including the concept and emergence of lied as a form, covers the approach to lied type in Germany depending on Strauss's being German. Also, this part focuses on the development of lied during Romantic period and the contributions of Strauss to this development. By using deductive method and making literature review, other lied compositions of Strauss are mentioned in general, and then in the third part, Strauss's Lied Op. 10 is analysed. This part also includes the information about the poet of this opera and the time course when this lied was composed. Furthermore, this part of the study involves the linguistic content of the poems and their translations into Turkish. In the fourth part of the study, the relationship between linguistic content and music is analysed and compared harmonically and musically by using interview method and work analysis, and some suggestions are made related to the accompaniment with pianists through score. As a result, in this study, where Strauss was defined as the last romantic composer of the 19th. Century, his Lied Op.10 was analysed. It was also observed that there was simple keyboard accompaniment with simple-structured armonies used in lied types before Romantic period; however during Romantic period, there was a balanced and holistic harmony between the piece of art and music as well as the descriptive aspect in accompaniment, musical perspective, using of minor and major tones, and multifunctional feature in harmonic structure.
