    Çalışmanın amacı 02.01.2002-17.02.2014 dönemi için TCMB politika faiz oranlarındaki değişimin ve 18.12.200917.02.2014 dönemi için TCMB FED ve ECB sözlü yönlendirmelerinin BIST 100 seanslarının oynaklığı üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Bu amaçla 1. seanstaki değişim 2. seanstaki değişim ve günlük değişim serileri oluşturulmuş ve analiz kriz öncesi ve sonrası dönem ile kriz dönemi için incelenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda politika faiz oranındaki artışın seans oynaklığını azalttığı sözlü yönlendirmelerin ise 1. ve 2. seans oynaklığını arttırırken günlük değişim oynaklığını azalttığı görülmüştür
