Sturm Liouville diferensiyel denklemleri ve salınım teorisi / Sturm Liouville differential equation and oscillation theory

Abstract

Bu tezde, ikinci mertebeden Sturm-Liouville diferansiyel denklemi için salınım teorisi ele alınmıştır. Diferansiyel denklemler için varlık teorisi ve temel formlar kısaca özetlenmiş ve Sturm-Liouville karşılaştırma teoremleri çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca bir Sturm-Liouville denklemini doğrusal olmayan bir denklem sistemine dönüştüren Prüfer dönüşümü de verilmiştir. In this thesis, we study oscillation of second order Sturm-Liouville differential equations. The existence and fundamental forms of differential equations are briefly intoduced and the comparison theorems of Sturm-Liouville differential equations are studied. Also the Prüfer substitution metlod which transforms Sturm-Liouville differential equation into a system of differential equations is examined.
