Abstract

Sürdürülebilirlik kavramı, doğal kaynakların azalmadan gelecek nesillere aktarılması, sürdürülebilir yaşam, üretimde sürdürülebilirlik, kaynakların etkin kullanımı, sürdürülebilir gelişim kavramlarını ifade eder. Sürdürülebilir tasarım, tüketici taleplerini göz önünde bulundurarak, çevreye zarar vermeden, sürekli şekilde üretmektir. Literatürde 'Sürdürülebilirlik' ile ilgili birçok makale, araştırma ve rapor bulunmaktadır. Bu tezde ambalaj tasarımının sürdürülebilirlik ile olan ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Sürdürülebilirlik konusunda bireylerin teşvik edilip, çevre bilincinin oluşturulması sonucuna varılmıştır. The concept of sustainability refers to the concepts of sustainable living, sustainable production, efficient use of resources, sustainable development, transfer of natural resources to future generations without diminishing. Sustainable design is to produce on a permanent basis without harming the environment by taking into account consumer demands. There are many articles, researches and reports on 'Sustainability' in the literatüre. The effects of packaging design on sustainability have been examined in this thesis. As a conclusion, it is acknowledged that individuals should be encoureged to create environment awareness in terms of sustainability.
