Abstract

Günümüzde paylaşım kültürü internetin sağladığı imkânlar ile hızlı bir değişim geçirmiş ve geçmişte yakın çevre ile sınırlanan paylaşım anlayışı çevrimiçi platformlar ve mobil uygulamaların gelişmesi ile yerini yabancılarla paylaşıma bırakmıştır. Paylaşım ekonomisi, atıl duran mal veya hizmetlerin paylaşım yoluyla ekonomik olarak değerlendirilmesi anlamına gelmektedir. Değişen tüketici davranışları ile birlikte tüketicilerin sahiplikten çok tecrübe odaklı tüketime yönelmesi hizmet sektörünü paylaşım ekonomisi paydaşlarından biri konumuna getirmiştir. Geniş hacimli paylaşım ekonomisinin etkileri tartışılırken, birçok alana hızla yayılmakta ve özellikle turizm alanının farklı kollarında ön plana çıkmaktadır. Paylaşım ekonomisi ve turizmi ortak paydada buluşturan Airbnb platformu, arz ve talebi oluşturan tarafların konum zaman ücret ve turist ile ev sahibinin itibarının uygun şekilde eşleşmesini sağlayan bir aracı rolündedir. Bu çalışma keşfedici araştırma türlerinde sıklıkla kullanılan bir araştırma tekniği olan nitel araştırma yöntemi uygulanarak Airbnb resmi web sitesinden (www.airbnb.com.tr) veri toplanmış ve toplanan bu veriler içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Bu çalışma Airbnb Türkiye kapasitesini iller bazında ortaya çıkarmak ve çıkan sonucu paylaşım ekonomisi yaklaşımı ile açıklayarak Türkiye nezdinde değerlendirmelerde bulunmaktadır.
