Abstract

Destinasyon pazarlama örgütleri (DMO) filmlerde görsel olarak olumlu bir imaj yaratma yolu ile turistlerin destinasyona çekilmesi sonucunda oluşan ekonomik etkilerin önemini farketmesi ile birlikte destinasyonların filmlerde ürün yerleştirme yolu ile pazarlanması yeni bir fenomen haline gelmiştir. Destinasyon pazarlama örgütleri destinasyon marka imajını güçlendirecek film turizmini desteklemek ve film yapımcılarını destinasyonlarına çekebilmek amacı ile strateji geliştirme çabasında bulunmaktadırlar. Bu bağlamda film turizmi bir çok araştırmacı tarafından çalışılmış ancak bu çalışmada literatür çalışmasına ek olarak hem nitel hem de nicel araştıma yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışma Uluslararası Destinasyon Pazarlama Örgütünün tüm üyelerinin film öncesi ve sonrasında yaptıkları destinasyon pazarlaması ile ilgili aktivitelerin hem nicel hem de nitel yöntemler ile araştırılması hedeflenmiştir. Ayrıca destinasyon pazarlama örgütlerinin destinasyon web siteleri aracılığı ile film turizmi kapsamında hangi unsurları ön plana çıkardığı araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada hem akademisyenler hem de uygulayıcılar açısından yararlı olacak sonuçlar elde edilmiştir
