Pablo casals: Entonasyon ve ifadeli entonasyon kavramı

Abstract

Müzik dünyası için önemli bir yere sahip olan Pablo Casals, ünlü bir çellist olmasının yanı sıra politik görüşü ve duruşu ile de saygı duyulan bir sanatçıdır. J.S. Bach çello süitlerini çello repertuvarına kazandırması ise müzik dünyasına olan en büyük katkılarından biridir. 'İfadeli Entonasyon' olarak adlandırdığı entonasyon kavramı, doğal olana ve seslerin ifadesine verdiği önemin bir göstergesidir. Entonasyon, eski zamanlardan günümüze sadece müzisyenler ve müzik teorisyenlerinin değil filozoflar ve matematikçilerin de üzerinde çalıştıkları bir konu olmuştur. Bu çalışmada Casals'ın hayatı, çello tekniğine getirdiği yenilikler ve kendi buluşu olan 'İfadeli Entonasyon' kavramı incelenerek; akort sistemleri, entonasyon, yaylı çalgılarda entonasyon problemleri ve çözümleri gibi konular tartışılmıştır. Eğitim ve performans alanında çalıcılara ve eğitimcilere farklı bir bakış açısı sağlayacağı düşünülen bu çalışmanın, entonasyon algısında yaratacağı zenginlikle, çalıcıların sahne performansına önemli katkılar sunacağı düşünülmektedir.

Pablo Casals, who has an important place in the music world, is a famous cellist as well as an artist respected for his political opinions and stances. One of his greatest contributions to the music world, as well as to the cello repertoire, is J. S. Bach's Suites for Solo Cello. The concept of intonation, which Casals calls 'Expressive Intonation', is an indication of the importance he attaches to the natural, and to the expression of sounds. From ancient times to the present, intonation has been a subject that not only musicians and music theorists, but also philosophers and mathematicians have been working on. In this study, Casals' life, his innovations in cello technique, and his own invention, the 'Expressed Intonation' concept are examined. Tuning systems, intonation, intonation problems, and solutions to intonation problems in string instruments are also discussed. This study, which aims to provide a different perspective to players and educators in the field of education and performance, will hopefully make a significant contribution to stage performance and create a perception of intonation in its richest form.
