Risk yönetiminin tedarik zinciri yönetimi performansına etkisi / Impact of risk management on supply chain management performance

Abstract

Son yıllarda yaşanan ekonomik sorunlar, krizler, siyasi demeçler, karmaşık piyasa yapıları ve kur dalgalanmaları gibi olayların küresel çapta yaşanması şirketleri zor durumda bırakmaktadır. Bu sebeple şirketler çeşitli önlemler ve yönetimsel kararlar almaya başlamışlardır. Böylece risk yönetimi kavramı şirketlerin dikkatini çekmeye ve giderek önem kazanmaya başlamıştır. Tedarik zinciri yönetimi de şirketler için risk yönetimi kadar vazgeçilmez bir yönetim anlayışıdır. Yoğun rekabet ortamı ve uluslararası ticaret trafiği şirketleri tedarikçilerle işbirliği yapmaya yönlendirmiştir. Böylece sorumluluklar paylaşılmış tedarik zincirinin verimliliği arttırılmıştır. Bundan sonraki süreçte tedarikçiler şirketin iş ortakları olarak görülmeye başlanmıştır. Sürece aktif olarak katılmaları hem maliyetler açısından hem de zaman açısından tasarruf edilmesini sağlamıştır.Hem risk yönetimi hem de tedarik zinciri yönetiminin günümüz koşullarında şirket performansları için fark yaratan değerler olması dikkatleri birbiriyle olan ilişkilerini değerlendirmeye yönlendirmiştir.Araştırmada risk yönetimi ve tedarik zinciri yönetimi kavramlarının önemi vurgulanarak birbirleri üzerindeki etkileri ve performansları incelenmiştir. Bu sebeple gerekli analizlerin yapılabilmesi için hazırlanan anket çalışmasıyla elde edilen veriler değerlendirilmiştir. Değerlendirmede tanımlama, kültür, süreç, deneyim ve uygulama performans kriterleri baz alınmıştır.Bu çalışmanın, şirketlere ve yöneticilere ışık tutması açısından literatüre katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmüştür.Anahtar Kelimeler: risk, risk yönetimi, tedarik zinciri, tedarik zinciri yönetimi. The economic problems, crisis, political declarations, complex structure of the market and fluctuation of rates which exist globally have been big challenge for the companies in the last years. The companies have started to develop effective decision making methods to protect themselves. Thus the concept of risk management has started to take attention and has been an increasing importance for companies. Supply chain management is also very important for companies. Due to the competitive environment and existence of international trade companies need to collaborate with the suppliers and other partners. Sharing responsibilities and risks increased the effectiveness of the supply chain. Thus the suppliers are seen as partners of the companies. Their active role and participation to the processes decrease not only the cost but also the time in managing the supply chain. Since risk management and supply chain management are two important concepts which create the difference between the companies in today's competitive environment researchers have started to focus on analyzing the relation between them. In this research, the concept of risk management and supply chain management were emphasized, the relation between them and their effect on the company performance were analyzed. For this purpose, a survey was prepared, applied to participants and the collected data were analyzed. While preparing the survey, identification, culture, process, experience and implementation were taken as main independent variables.
