    The invention of the technology that allowed us to record and play in the late 19th. century has changed the habits of listening to the music. Because of the developing technology, the quality of the productions and accessibility to these productions have been increased thus making the sound recording a significant tool both for the musicians and the listeners. What makes a good sound recording is the techniques to apply to the microphones according to the instruments and selecting the right products. Classical guitar is rich in timbre but unfortunately, it is not strong in amplitude. For these reasons, it is highly important to understand the structure of the classical guitar, choosing the right microphone and applying it with specific techniques. In this thesis, different classical guitars have been used to record and analyze the outcome in order to distinguish the important aspects of applying the microphones.
